We've made two updates to how candidate stages behave in your inbox for permanent staffing recruiter accounts, designed specifically for how you work.
Offer Accepted conversations move out of your active inbox
After marking a candidate as Offer Accepted, the conversation remained in your active inbox — creating clutter with the placements you'd already closed and new candidates in your inbox.
Now, conversations marked Offer Accepted will move to your Inactive view, keeping your active inbox focused on open opportunities. You can still edit the stage or respond at any time, and if the candidate reapplies, the conversation will move back to New automatically.
Smarter stage resets on reapplication
Previously, when a candidate applied to a new job while in conversation for another role, their stage would automatically move to New — even if you had moved their stage to Screening or Pending Manager Interview. This made it difficult to keep track of candidates as they moved through your pipeline.
Now, if a candidate applies to another job, their stage won't reset to New, unless you’ve set the candidate's stage to an inactive status: Proposed, Offer Accepted or Ended. In these cases, it will update to New so the conversation moves from inactive back to active in your inbox.
These updates help you spend less time resetting stages and more time moving the right conversations forward.
